A man was shot Thursday morning in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The shooting happened in the 2800 block of West Madison at 10:28 a.m., according to Chicago Police.

The 43-year-old was shot in the knee, police said. Additional details, including where he was taken and his condition, weren’t immediately available.
