A man was charged with DUI after he crashed an SUV into a house Monday night in southwest suburban Palos Hills.

Idrahim Ajdari, 28, crashed his Nissan Pathfinder into a house in the 10200 block of 82nd Avenue a few minutes before 10 p.m., according to Palos Hills police.

Ajdari was injured in the crash and was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police said.

No one inside the home was hurt, but the house was left uninhabitable, police said.

Ajdari, who lives in Palos Hills, was later arrested and charged with DUI, police said. Court information was not immediately available.
