A man was shot in the Princeton Park neighborhood on the South Side Monday morning.

The 27-year-old was getting into a friend’s car in the 9400 block of South Wentworth Avenue at 7:40 a.m. when he heard shots and felt pain, police said.

He suffered a gunshot wound to the left shoulder, and his friend took him to Roseland Community Hospital where his condition stabilized, police said.
