A 19-year-old man was shot Friday evening in the West Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side.

He was driving in the 1400 block of North Kildare at 6:25 p.m. when a light-colored car began to pass on his right and someone in the rear passenger seat fired shots, according to Chicago Police. The offending car sped away north on Kildare.

He suffered graze wounds to his head, right shoulder, and right hand, police said. He was taken to Norwegian American Hospital in good condition.
