Police are warning residents about two robberies reported Thursday night in the West Lawn neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

In each incident, one or more men approached victims before demanding and forcibly taking their property, according to a community alert from Chicago Police.

Both robberies occurred in the late evening hours, one in the 5900 block of South Kolmar and the other in the 5900 block of South Kildare, police said.

The suspects are described as one to three Hispanic men between 18 and 22, according to police. They ranged in height from 5-foot-6 to 6-foot-1, weighed 180-200 pounds and all wore dark clothing and ski masks.
