Lauryn Hill sets Ravinia concert

The elusive Lauryn Hill is the latest addition to this summer’s Ravinia lineup.

The singer behind the Fugees’ 1996 smash “Killing Me Softly” is scheduled to perform Sept. 1 at the Highland Park music oasis as part of a summer tour.

Hill has largely laid low since the release of her only solo studio album, the Grammy-winning “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill,” in 1998. Her most recent turn in the spotlight was as a contributor to the soundtrack of last year’s Oscar-nominated Nina Simone documentary “What Happened, Miss Simone?”

Tickets are $38-$95. Tickets for all 2016 Ravinia events go on sale at 5 a.m. April 26 at ravinia.org.
