A man was killed in a rollover crash late Friday in DeKalb.

John T. Young, 51, was driving a 2002 Honda Accord southbound on Somonauk Road north of Harter Road at 11:14 p.m. when the car veered off the road and rolled several times before coming to a stop on its roof, according to a statement from the DeKalb County sheriff’s office.

Young, who lived in the 600 block of Karen Drive in Somonauk, was dead at the scene, the sheriff’s office said. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

No one else was in the car at the time of the crash, the sheriff’s office said.
