16-year-old girl wounded in drive-by shooting in Englewood

A 16-year-old girl was shot in the thigh in a drive-by shooting shortly before midnight Friday in the 700 block of West 61st Place in Englewood.

The police said someone drove up and shot her but that she was able to get to St. Bernard Hospital, where she was being treated.
