New York Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick has quietly carved out a decent pro football career for himself. Like Tom Brady, Fitzpatrick was a seventh round draft pick and has far exceeded expectations.
While leading the Jets to a 5-3 record, he’s also thrown 13 touchdowns with a 61 completion percentage this season. Fitzpatrick has been as effective as a quarterback as New York has had in some time.
Throughout his career Fitzpatrick hasn’t won many big games, but he has performed well during the regular season as a whole. In fact, the Harvard grad is just two passes from being the league-best the best Ivy-league pro quarterback.

Jay Cutler just broke Luckman’s all-time passing touchdowns record with the Bears Monday night.
Here’s some championship footage of Luckman back in his glory days.
