Point streak continues for Patrick Kane with third period goal

SHARE Point streak continues for Patrick Kane with third period goal

Things were looking pretty bleak for Patrick Kane and the Blackhawks Thursday night. After a terrible first period, the Blackhawks trailed the Nashville Predators 3-0 in the final period.

However, as it’s been so often this season, Patrick Kane was able to ignite at least a little offense for the Blackhawks. Early in the period, the Blackhawks were on a rush. As has happened so many times during his point streak, the loose puck happened to find Kane.

It took an official replay to confirm, but the goal would eventually be counted. For Kane, it was his 24th consecutive game with a point. In comparison, Kane scored early this game. His last two points came with less than two minutes to play and with an empty net.

With Thursday night’s goal, Kane has put together his streak with 23 assists and 18 goals.
