Two shot in Rogers Park

A woman and a man were shot early Saturday in the Rogers Park neighborhood on the North Side.

The two were sitting in a vehicle in the 6800 block of North Ridge at 1:02 a.m. when they heard shots and realized they’d been shot, according to Chicago Police.

The 26-year-old woman was shot twice in the shoulder, twice in the leg and once in the calf, police said. The 21-year-old man was shot in the cheek.

They were both taken to Presence Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, where their conditions were stabilized, police said.
