A 17-year-old girl was shot late Wednesday in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

She was with a group of people on the porch of a home in the 6500 block of South Maplewood about 11:20 p.m. when two males on the street fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

She suffered a gunshot wound to the right leg and was taken to Holy Cross Hospital in good condition, police said.
