Jackson Boulevard will be closed to traffic near Union Station starting Tuesday night and into Wednesday as crews restore pavement outside the transit center.

Jackson will shut down between Clinton and Canal starting at 7 p.m. until 5 a.m. Wednesday. After that, it will be reduced to one lane until 5 a.m. Thursday, according to the Chicago Department of Transportation.

While the closures are in effect, drivers will be directed south on Clinton, east on Van Buren and north on Canal, officials said.
