A man was hurt in a drive-by shooting Wednesday morning in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

The 29-year-old victim was standing outside in the 7300 block of South Winchester at 10:54 a.m. when a silver SUV drove by and someone inside fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the leg, and was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
