The Bears will hold a practice, free and open to the public, on Aug. 20 at Warren Township High School, the team said Tuesday.

The “Varsity Bears High School Takeover” event will feature family friendly activities and fireworks. Gates open at 3:30 p.m., with practice scheduled to begin at 5:30. Free tickets, distributed online, sold out within three hours.

The event will be held two days after the team’s preseason game at the Patriots.
