A 55-year-old bicyclist was struck and killed by a car Monday morning in west suburban Hinsdale.

The crash happened about 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of Oak Street and Ravine Road, according to Hinsdale police and the DuPage County coroner’s office.

Pamela French, a Clarendon Hills resident, was taken to Hinsdale Hospital, where she later died, authorities said.

The driver stayed at the scene, police said. No citations had been issued as of Tuesday afternoon.
