Man shot in Austin

A 23-year-old man was shot Monday afternoon in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

At 3:51 p.m., the man was walking in the 5600 block of West Madison Street when he heard shots and felt pain, according to the Chicago Police.

He was taken in good condition to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.
