Police are warning residents about a series of burglaries reported this month in the Marquette Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

In each break-in, someone has entered a home through a rear door or side window, and taken property from within, according to a community alert from Chicago Police.

The burglaries occurred in the:

  • 7100 block of South Mozart about 10 p.m. Sept. 22;
  • 7100 block of South California about 4 a.m. Sept. 24;
  • 7000 block of South California about 3 p.m. Sept. 27; and
  • 7100 block of South Mozart about 3 p.m. Sept. 27.
