Authorities have identified a woman who was found unresponsive Thursday afternoon in the Lake View neighborhood on the North Side.

The woman, between 40 and 60, was found about 2:30 p.m. near the intersection of Belmont and Broadway, according to an alert from Chicago Police. She was taken to a hospital for treatment. Officers saw no outward signs of trauma.

Police had sought the public’s help determining the woman’s identity, but announced Friday morning that she had since been identified.
