Man reported missing from Near West Side located

A 57-year-old man who was reported missing Monday afternoon from the Near West Side has been found.

Michael Barrera was last seen about 3 p.m. in the 1600 block of West Harrison, according to Chicago Police.

Police said Tuesday morning that Barrera had been found.

A 31-year-old man was driving a Chevy Malibu in the 5300 block of DuSable Lake Shore Drive on Sunday when he lost control of the vehicle, police said. A 3-year-old girl was injured and taken to Comer Children’s Hospital, where she later died.
