A man was shot late Tuesday in the Bronzeville neighborhood on the South Side.

The 27-year-old was standing on the sidewalk at 11:44 p.m. in the first block of East 43rd Street when someone in a vehicle fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the right leg and taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
