2 men shot in West Englewood

Two men were shot Monday night in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

The two men, ages 26 and 27, were standing on the sidewalk at 10:14 p.m. in the 2000 block of West 69th Place when they heard shots and felt pain, according to Chicago Police.

The younger man was shot in the left leg, and the older man was shot in the right leg, police said. They both were taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where their conditions stabilized.
