A woman was shot early Saturday in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

The 24-year-old was walking north about 12:05 a.m. in the 6300 block of South Ashland when someone fired shots, striking her left arm, according to Chicago Police.

She showed up at St. Bernard Hospital, where her condition was stabilized, police said.
