A man was wounded Friday evening in a Southwest Side Lawndale neighborhood shooting.

The 37-year-old was on the sidewalk about 11:20 p.m. in the 1600 block of South Drake when he heard shots and felt pain, according to Chicago Police. He was shot in the right leg.

His condition was stabilized at Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.
