A 48-year-old man was wounded in a drive-by shooting Sunday afternoon in the Heart of Chicago neighborhood on the South Side.

Someone driving a dark-colored minivan fired shots at the man at 3:28 p.m. in the 2300 block of South Leavitt, according to Chicago Police.

The man was struck in the upper back and taken in serious condition to Stroger Hospital, police said.

Josiah Brown, 3, was pronounced dead at 10:16 a.m. Sunday, the Cook County medical examiner’s office said. Victoria Moreno is charged with attempted murder.
