An 18-year-old man was stabbed to death Friday night in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.
Brandon Porter-Young was found with multiple stab wounds to his upper body about 10 p.m. in the 3000 block of West Jackson, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office.
He was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:25 p.m., authorities said. He lived in the Austin neighborhood.
An autopsy conducted Sunday found Porter-Young died from multiple stab and incised wounds, and his death was ruled a homicide, the medical examiner’s office said.
No one was in custody as Area North detectives investigated the stabbing.
