A boy was shot Saturday morning in the Portage Park neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

The 16-year-old boy was shot in the face inside a home about 2:40 a.m. in the 3600 block of North Luna, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where his condition was stabilized.

Area North detectives were investigating.
