No charges were file after three people were taken for questioning Sunday afternoon following an hours-long standoff with police in the North Side Lincoln Park community.

Officers initially responded about 8 a.m. to a call of a person with a gun inside a home in the 2400 block of North Clybourn, Chicago police said. Shortly after, a second caller said there were multiple armed people inside the home, and that one of them had hit a woman with a gun.

Just before 3 p.m., a SWAT team was able to make contact with the people inside the home, police said. Three people were taken into custody and later released without charges.

No one was hurt, police said.

Area North Detectives are investigating.
