Man electrocuted on Blue Line tracks last week identified

A man who died of electrocution after falling on Blue Line tracks at the Kedzie-Homan stop last week has been identified.

The man, identified as 33-year-old Jordan Lazerick, fell onto the track’s third rail from a bicycle at 530 S. Kedzie about 4:45 a.m. Tuesday, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Lazerick, of the 1500 block of South Central, was taken to Stroger Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 4:50 a.m., according to the medical examiner’s office.

An autopsy ruled his death an accident.
