Police are warning North Siders of a couple of vehicle thefts reported last week in Ravenswood.

In both cases, thieves took vehicles that were parked on the street, Chicago police said in a community alert. It is not known how the thieves were able to get inside of the vehicles.

A theft was reported between 7:30 a.m. and 2:20 p.m. Sept. 25 in the 4800 block of North Francisco Avenue, police said. Another happened between midnight and 11 a.m. Sept. 27 in the 2700 block of West Winnemac Avenue.

A description of any suspects was not immediately available.
