Police are looking for two people suspected of trying to lure a 9-year-old boy into their vehicle Friday in Marquette Park on the South Side.

The boy was walking about 8:10 a.m. in the 2700 block of West 68th Street when someone in a gray four-door sedan pulled up beside him, Chicago police said. The people inside asked if the boy wanted a ride to school, but he refused.

The vehicle then drove away, made a U-turn and someone inside asked the boy again, police said. The child refused, and the suspects drove away.

The driver was male and his passenger was female, police said.
