Woman shot in Englewood

She was with friends in the 2000 block of West 69th Place when someone fired shots.

A woman was hospitalized when she was shot Nov. 30, 2019 in Cottage Grove Heights.

The 25-year-old was shot in the leg July 13.

A 25-year-old woman was wounded Saturday after she was shot in the leg in Englewood on the South Side.

She told investigators she was on the sidewalk with friends about 2:30 a.m. in the 2000 block of West 69th Place when someone approached from the gangway and opened fire, Chicago police said.

The woman was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in good condition, police said. Police didn’t have a description of who shot her.

No one is in custody as Area South detectives investigate.
