Police are warning Bucktown residents of a series of burglaries to homes throughout December.

In each, someone entered through an unlocked door or window and stole property, Chicago police said.

The burglaries happened:

  • between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. Dec. 9 in the 2100 block of North Leavitt Street;
  • between 6:50 a.m. and 4:40 p.m. Dec. 11 in the 2000 block of West Homer Street; and
  • between Dec. 24 and Dec. 28 in the 2000 bock of West McLean Avenue.

Police did not provide a suspect description.
