Series of home burglaries reported in Bucktown

In each, someone entered through an unlocked door or window and stole property.

Three armed robberies were reported in Albany Park and Irving Park in January. — Police say three homes were burglarized in December 2019 in Bucktown.

Police are warning Bucktown residents of a series of burglaries to homes throughout December.

In each, someone entered through an unlocked door or window and stole property, Chicago police said.

The burglaries happened:

between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. Dec. 9 in the 2100 block of North Leavitt Street;
between 6:50 a.m. and 4:40 p.m. Dec. 11 in the 2000 block of West Homer Street; and
between Dec. 24 and Dec. 28 in the 2000 bock of West McLean Avenue.

Police did not provide a suspect description.
