Police are warning Beverly residents of a series of burglaries to garages over the past month in the South Side neighborhood.
In each of the four burglaries, someone entered an unlocked garage and stole bicycles and lawn equipment, Chicago police said.
The burglaries happened between midnight and 6 a.m. on:
- Dec. 16 and 30 in the 9200 block of South Winchester Avenue;
- Jan. 1 in the 9000 block of South Damen Avenue; and
- Jan. 2 in the 8900 block of South Hoyne Avenue.
Police did not offer a description of the suspect or suspects.
