A 37-year-old woman was found shot to death Sunday inside a residence in Marquette Park on the Southwest Side.

She was found about 10:05 a.m. inside a residence in the 3300 block of West 71st Street, with multiple gunshot wounds, Chicago police said.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office identified Reyes-Hernandez by her birth name, but she identified by the name Selena.

An autopsy conducted Monday confirmed she died of gunshot wounds, the medical examiner’s office said. Her death was ruled a homicide.

The circumstances of the shooting remain under investigation, police said.

Area One detectives are investigating.
