A man was found fatally shot Tuesday morning in Riverdale on the Far South Side.

About 2 a.m., he was found outside in the 700 block of East 132nd Street with a gunshot wound to his neck, Chicago police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office identified him as 18-year-old Clement Simmons of West Pullman.

A person who was being questioned by detectives was later charged with unlawful use of a weapon by a felon.

The case remains an open investigation, police said.
