All festival-goers know that feeling: The last set of the night is coming to a close, but you’re just not ready for it to end. Sure, you’ve been dancing under the hot sun all day and sure, your clothes are drenched in your sweat, but you know in your heart that you’re not meant to head home yet.

If that doesn’t describe you, then what about this: When North Coast Music Festival (NCMF) announced its schedule for the Labor Day weekend party, two of the artists you were looking forward to seeing were slotted for the same time on the same day. Oh no! However will you choose? Well maybe you don’t have to.

NCMF has released the lineup for the official after-parties taking place at various bars and clubs in town after the lights at Union Park come on.

The weekend’s kick-off event will take place at none other than The MID, which once served as the headquarters for React Presents – one of the promoters behind NCMF.

The event will bring Wes James (Le Youth) home to his Midwest roots (he hails from Ohio), and if his latest release “R E A L” is any indication of what to expect, NCMF’s weekend opener will not disappoint.

Tickets to the Le Youth and Plastic Plates after-party (which is really more of a pre-party) are free with an RSVP at CLUBTIX, but you have to be over 21.

NCMF loves them some Green Velvet and clearly the feeling is mutual – he’s back again and his been with the fest since its inception. The Chicago-native is a House music icon and the genius behind classics like “Coffee Pot (It’s Time for the Percolator)” (which he recorded as Cajmere) and “La La Land.” A Green Velvet set can be described as “bizarre,” though that’s meant as a compliment. Count on him to walk out in front of his tables and do the robot dance while the track plays. Whether you catch his set at NCMF or at The MID, do not miss Green Velvet this year.Other Sunday parties:

• Goldfish + Auto Body — Bottom Lounge

• Kill The Noise, The Trap House + Rodga — Transit | 21+

• Until the Ribbon Breaks, GGOOLLDD, Equator Club — Cobra Lounge | 21+
