Friday practice update: Harris back on the field

DT Tommie Harris (left knee) returned to the practice field Friday at Halas Hall for the first time this week.

Meanwhile, LB Lance Briggs (hip) and DE Mark Anderson (left knee) remained sidelined.

While CB Nathan Vasher (groin) was not in practice gear during the special teams portion of the workout, Vasher went inside and it could be the veteran was returning to take part in at least portions of the workout. Vasher has not practiced since playing Monday night at Minnesota after missing nearly three months of action.

DT Darwin Walker (left elbow) was practicing again on Friday, and QB Rex Grossman (knee) remained out. KR Devin Hester (shin) was also practicing again as was LB Rod Wilson (quad).
