WASHINGTON–With the Obama campaign raising John McCain’s role in the Keating 5 scandal–a 20 something year old subject unvisited until McCain started up about Obama and Bill Ayers, the McCain campaign is having a conference call now featuring McCain attorney John Dowd.

Bottom line, said Dowd, “John had not violated any rules of the Senate or laws of the United States.”

The conference call came as an Obama web “documentary” called “Keating economics, John McCain and the making of a financial crisis” started.
