DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 24, 2009

Tomorrow morning, President Obama will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing, the Economic Daily Briefing and meet with senior advisors in the Oval Office. These meetings are closed press.

Later in the morning, the President will meet with the Japanese Prime Minister Taro Aso in the Oval Office to discuss the close and longstanding alliance between the United States and Japan. Also, the meeting emphasizes the importance of consultation between leaders of the world’s largest economies in the run-up to the London Economic Summit. There will be a pool spay at the top of the meeting.

In the evening, President Obama will travel to the Capitol to address a joint session of Congress. Coverage details will be handled by the House Radio-TV Gallery.
