Not cold enough out there for you? Here’s an idea: Go jump in the lake. No, literally. The Lakeview Polar Bear Club (a 501(c)3 organization) is having its ninth annual Lake Michigan plunge on Saturday at Oak Street Beach, with the event benefiting two families in need. If you’d like to join in the “Celebration of Shrinkage,” download a waiver form from the website and show up at 11:30 a.m. Keep in mind, you don’t have to get wet to be able to participate; you can also make a donation to the cause online or in person.
