Northwestern players will wear stickers on their helmets in memory of former offensive lineman Leon Brockmeier, who died Saturday of natural causes. Brockmeier, a second-team, All-Big Ten tackle on the team that won the 2000 Big Ten championship, was 34.Brockmeier started 35 games for the Wildcats, including 24 straight for an offense that led the Big Ten in total offense in 2000 and was second in 2001.Brockmeier is survived by wife Melanie and two sons.
