Amazon.com will now let you add to your shopping cart via Twitter.

Users who connect their Amazon and Twitter accounts can order an item featured in a tweet with an Amazon product link. Users just have to reply using #AmazonCart. You’ll still have to log in to your Amazon account to complete the purchase.

The online retailer kicked off the service with the tagline “Add it now. Buy it later.”

“We are certainly open to working with other social networks,” an Amazon spokeswoman told CNET. “Twitter in particular offers a great environment for our customers to discover product recommendations from artists, experts, brands and friends.”
