A man who was shot by police Monday in the southwest suburbs died Tuesday morning.

Shaquille Barrow, 20, was shot some time Monday in Joliet, according to the Will County coroner’s office. Police could not be reached early Wednesday to provide details about the shooting.

Barrow was taken to Presence Saint Joseph Hospital in Joliet, where he was pronounced dead at 10:55 a.m. Tuesday, the coroner’s office said. He lived in Joliet.

An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.
