A 35-year-old man died Saturday, nearly four months after he fell off of a vehicle in the North Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side.

Maximiano Huerta jumped onto a car and fell to the ground in the 1400 block of North Homan about 4:50 p.m. on May 11, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Huerta, of the 5100 block of West Schubert, died at Stroger Hospital at 5:33 p.m. Saturday, according to the medical examiner’s office.

An autopsy found he died of complications of a blunt force head injury, and his death was ruled an accident.

Chicago Police could not provide information about the incident Tuesday morning.
