A 21-year-old man was wounded Tuesday night in an East Side neighborhood drive-by shooting.

The man was walking just before 8 p.m. in the 9700 block of South Avenue L when a white car pulled up and someone inside opened fired and then drove off, according to Chicago Police.

The victim was taken to Advocate Trinity Hospital in good condition with a gunshot wound to the leg, police said.
