Widespread power outages were reported after a crash in northwest suburban Hanover Park.

A vehicle struck an electric pole Tuesday night in the area of Cloverdale Road and Lake Street, said Hanover police.

Workers from Commonwealth Edison were on the scene working to regain power as of 11:17 p.m. Tuesday, police said.
