A man was shot in his neck on Sunday in the West Garfield Park neighborhood.

The 19-year-old was shot about 4:30 p.m. in the 4300 block of West Wilcox when someone walked up to him and fired as he got out of a vehicle, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition with a gunshot wound to his neck, police said.
