A Far South Side man died Sunday night after he was shot in south suburban Harvey.

Deonte Harmon, 22, died at 10:07 p.m. at Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Harvey, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. He lived in the 11400 block of South Ada.

Harmon was shot in the chest at 159th and Marshfield in Harvey, according to the medical examiner’s office. His death was ruled a homicide.

A spokesman for the city of Harvey did not immediately respond to a request for information.
