A man was seriously wounded late Sunday in a drive-by shooting in the West Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The 24-year-old was getting out of a vehicle about 11:40 p.m. in the 1400 block of North Kildare when a dark-colored car pulled up and someone inside fired shots, striking him in the leg and abdomen, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken in serious condition to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.

No one was in custody as Area North detectives investigated.
